What we do

Friends Of Talented People with Intellectual Disability (FOTPID) is established to invest in the development of Innate talent of people with intellectual disability (down syndrome) and help them achieve a fulfilled life. The group was registered in Ghana as a non profit organization in 2019

Our vision is to help people with intellectual disability achieve social inclusion through talent exhibition and to bring relief to their family (financially and timewise)

We run a dance center where we use dance & movement-based therapy to ignite the innate creativity of People with Intellectual Disability (PWID).

Dance/movement-based therapy is found to be an effective form of therapy for people living with intellectual disability. It helps them to improve self-esteem, develop effective communication skills & relationships, expand their movement vocabulary, feel loved and give them new options for coping with stress and mood swings.

FOTPID dance center is a place where PWID come to dance their heart out. we provide them open space, music and train them in chorography, singing, poem recitals, Disc jogging etc.

Let’s build something together.
